Making and Taking Tours with Google Earth
- Time: 10am-11am CST
- Session Agenda - Google Docs link
- Description: Google Earth isn't just for viewing our wonderful world, but can also be used for you and your students to create educational tours. With the Project tool in Google Earth you can plot points on the globe to make a 3D geographic tour of a story, historical event, interesting locations, or any concept you are exploring in class. Each location can include additional text, images, videos, links, and more. Learn how you and your students can create, collaborate, and share these Google Earth tools!

- Descrition: Everyone knows about Google Docs, Gmail, Search, and other common Google tools. But there are also loads of smaller, lesser-known, but powerful tools. Learn about hidden gems such as nGram, Trends, AutoDraw, Chrome Music Lab, Toontastic, Landlines, Meme Buddy, Reverse Image Search, Instant Search Cards, Mystery Animal, Semantris, Grasshopper, Art Palette, and more (List subject to change based on how cool and unknown the tools remain.)

Holy Sheets! Google Sheets Activities for all Subjects
- Time: Noon-1pm CST
- Session Agenda: Google Docs link
- Description: Google Sheets is not just a tool for crunching numbers. It is a powerful tool for learning, inquiry, exploration, and inspiration in any subject area. In this session we will take a look at several practical activities for a wide range of content areas including random writing prompts, flash cards, educational games, student-created learning databases, art and creativity, and of course analyzing data to draw conclusions and make predictions.

- Description: Google Drawings is part of the Drive suite of tools but is often overlooked. However it is a fantastic program for student learning and teacher instruction. In this session we will cover the basics of how Drawings works, and then we will look at dozens of practical examples of how it can be used in schools, including graphic organizers, math manipulatives, desktop publishing, interactive digital posters, drag-and-drop poetry, and more.
