Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

New resources from around the Internet...
๐ Readsy
- Readsy is a free Chrome extension to help users read text more easily by highlighting key parts of speech.
- The aim is to allow users to skim through material faster than normal by emphasizing parts-of-speech such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives, while de-emphasizing parts-of-speech such as prepositions and conjunctions.
- Users can change which parts-of-speech are highlighted, change the color of the highlights, and save their own color templates.

๐ Creative Writing and Publishing Resources
With the "National Day on Writing" that just took place on October 20th, and with National Novel Writing Month ("NaNoWriMo") coming up in November, creative writing is definitely on my mind. To help with this I just put up a new blog post where I share:
- ✍️ A giant collection of creative writing tools and activities for you and your students.
- ๐ Resources for how you and your students can share or publish your writings.
- ๐ง And as a great example of using technology to write creatively and publish the final product… a children's book about cheese that my daughter wrote!
Check out all the links, templates, and resources in the linked blog post, and if you or your students use any of these resources for writing, I would love to see whatever you are willing to share.
