Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

🌞 Book Creator Summer Resources
As we approach the summer months (how is that possible?!) Book Creator is here to help keep curiosity alive with activities designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking including:
- 📓 Reading Journals - Prevent summer slide with engaging reading journals and resources from Epic!, Sora, and Capstone!
- 🎨 Art Projects - Spark creativity this summer with engaging digital art books for grades K-5!
- 🤖 Stem Books - Keep young minds engaged with exciting STEM challenges that inspire creativity and critical thinking!
- ✍️ Monthly Journals - Rain or shine, keep summer days engaging with our fun and interactive monthly journals!

⚖️ Would You Rather Math
"Would You Rather" is a classic game of comparing two options and trying to decide which one your prefer. For example... Would you rather have 12 weeks off in the summer or 3 weeks off four times per year?
Although this can be a fun party game, it can also be educational. John Stevens shows this to be true with his site "Would You Rather Math". Here you will find hundreds of math-themed prompts in categories for K-2, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th. For each one the students need to think critically about the question, make a decision, and then support their choice with mathematical reasoning.

✍️ Groovelit
Groovelit's new Current Events feature transforms how students engage with writing by instantly connecting news stories to what they're learning. With just a few clicks, teachers can find curriculum-aligned current events and launch compelling writing tasks that make learning immediately relevant.
Developed with support from the Harvard Innovation Labs, Groovelit’s innovative approach to writing instruction encourages students to read, draft, edit, and revise - and get points while doing it! By integrating current events with curriculum, students develop critical thinking skills alongside writing fluency, preparing them for success in an information-rich world.
By making writing about current events accessible and curriculum-connected, Groovelit is helping teachers meet that crucial 60-minute daily writing goal in natural, engaging, and purposeful ways for today's students.
Every teacher account comes with a 30 day free trial of Groovelit Go, but email Gavin at gavin@groovelit.com if your school/district would benefit from an extended trial.
