2022 Year-in-Review

It's hard to believe that the year is coming to an end. If time flies when you are having fun, then I must have really been enjoying this year.

And I did!

This year was filled with wonderful experiences, time spent with family and friends, lots of travel, and many, many trainings, videos, and posts.

As a way to wrap up the year, I decided to pull together some of the stats and highlights from 2022 including:

✍️ Top Blog Posts
▶️ YouTube Views
🐦 Top Tweets
✈️ Travel Destinations

🎬 Bonus: Favorite Movies

These are not just numbers however. They are representations of people who have gone on this learning journey with me, folks who have connected in person or virtually, and ultimately educators and students who have been impacted and have impacted me.

Thanks so much for learning with me, and I am looking forward to learning more with you in 2023!

📧 New Email Discussion Group

Something new I started in November was a "Control Alt Achieve" Google Group for email discussions. This is a great way to connect with other educators, share ideas, and ask questions.

We already have over 500 members. If you would like to join, you can get all the details at bit.ly/caa-emailgroup

🎬 Bonus: Favorite Movies

And just so this isn't only about educational technology, I wanted to share my favorite movies from 2022. I actually did not get a chance to see a lot of movies this year, so this list may change if I get a chance to catch up on some I missed. Nevertheless, at the moment my favorite movies of 2022 were:
  • Everything Everywhere All at Once
  • The Northman
  • The Banshees of Inisherin
  • The Batman
  • Marcel the Shell with Shoes On

🏁 Conclusion

Thanks again to everyone who connected with me in any way this year. I appreciate the encouraging words, the great ideas, the questions, the comments, and the opportunity to learn alongside of you!
