This year is the 15th annual CFISD Digital Learning Conference and is:
- Entirely virtual with over 100 EdTech sessions
- Held on July 22nd and 23rd
- Open to all educators

๐️ Chromebooks Create! Empowering Students with Screencast, Canvas & Cursive
- Time: 8:00am - 8:50am CT (9:00am - 9:50am ET)
- Description: Unlock your students' creative potential using the powerful, built-in tools available on every Chromebook! In this hands‑on session we’ll dive into Screencast for recording explanations, reflections, and narrated slideshows (complete with searchable transcripts); Canvas for digital drawing, labeling diagrams, and quick whiteboard activities; and Cursive for natural handwriting and sketchnoting with a stylus or trackpad. Together we will explore ideas for using these tools to foster student expression, demonstration of understanding, and digital creation skills.

๐ Chromebook Accessibility Tools
- Time: 9:00am - 9:50am CT (10:00pm - 10:50pm ET)
- Description: Chromebooks really are the computer "For Everyone" as they have powerful accessibility tools to support any learner. In this session we will explore the built-in text-to-speech tools (select to speak), alternative input tools ( dictation, on-screen keyboard, digital handwriting), readability tools (magnifier, zoom, high contrast), and navigation tools (automatic clicks, sticky keys, and mouse cursor adjustments) and more!
