Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

This week I have 4 resources from around the Internet and 3 resources from my blog.
🤿 Snorkl Webinar
I am excited to be hosting a free webinar about Snorkl, one of my favorite AI tools for student learning. With Snorkl…
- ❓ You create a problem, question, or prompt for your students (any subject, any grade).
- 🎙️ Students record themselves solving the problem or answering the question while explaining their reasoning.
- ✒️ If needed the student can draw on the digital whiteboard while speaking.
- 💯 Snorkl then reviews the student's explanation based on the guidance you have provided.
- 💬 Snorkl then provides personalized feedback for the student (and you) on their work.
And all of this comes in a robust free version! To help you get the most out of this tool, I will be presenting a deep-dive webinar:
- 🤿 "Dive into Snorkl for Student Learning"
- 🗓️ Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025
- ⏰ 7pm ET / 6pm CT / 5pm MT / 4pm PT
- ▶️ The webinar will be live-streamed and also recorded for those who can't attend live
You can get more details and register at the link above.

While I was at the GaETC Conference recently, I had the pleasure to be a guest on "Bulldawgs Unleashed" which is the podcast for Otwell Middle School in Georgia. For the particular episode I was on, we discussed the following:
- My GaETC sessions
- My professional journey from middle school math teacher to EdTech coach
- My educational philosophy, including the importance of having a growth mindset
- The resources I share on my Control Alt Achieve website
- And tips for how I keep up to date on all the changes in EdTech, especially AI

📖 StudyFetch Read
StudyFetch Read is a free online tool to transform any text into personalized reading experiences for your entire classroom in under 60 seconds.
- Step 1 - Build Student Profiles (5 minutes, once per year) - Students complete a quick interest survey (or you fill it out for them) including sports, hobbies, favorite topics, and more.
- Step 2 - Upload Your Material (any text, any subject) - Drop in PDFs, paste text, or upload existing curriculum.
- Step 3 - Generate & Distribute (30 students, 30 versions, 60 seconds) - Select your class, choose personalization level, click generate. Every student gets a PDF or web link with content at their reading level, connected to their interests. Every personalized passage is automatically evaluated against research-backed standards for Sentence Structure, Vocabulary Complexity, and Cognitive Demand
And best yet, this amazing tool is free forever for teachers and students, with no trials or premium features behind paywalls.

🔊 Sodaphonic
It is always great to find a new free tool for audio recording and editing. In the past I have shared about such tools as Online Voice Recorder and TwistedWave. Recently my EdTech friend Jeremy Badiner shared about another free tool called Sodaphonic.
Sodaphonic is a simple, yet powerful, free online tool for audio recording, editing, and sharing.
- You can use the "Boombox" feature to easily record your voice and then share it as a link.
- Or you can use the Sodaphinic "Editor" to make changes to a new recording or an uploaded audio file. With the editor you can trim, reverse, fade-in, fade-out, and more, and then share or download the result.
- Lastly there is the "Format Flipper" tool which lets you convert an audio file from one format into another.
Head on over to the Sodaphonic site to try it out, or check out Jeremy's blog post for detailed directions.

🧑🏫 TeacherTab
I recently got the chance to catch up with my good friend Tyler Tarver at the GaETC Conference. While we were chatting, I learned about a new Chrome extension he developed called "Teacher Tab". Basically with this free extension, anytime you open a new blank tab in Chrome you will actually get a nicely organized collection of links to essential tools, useful templates, daily tips, community resources, and more.
You can explore and install the extension at the link above, and find more of Tyler's helpful resources on his website at https://tarveracademy.com/
