Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

✨ AI in Education Roundtable
I am super excited to be participating in a live "AI in Education" roundtable this Wednesday, March 26th at 1pm EDT. We will be having an engaging discussion on the topic "How AI Can Help Improve the Quality of Education". You can register for free at the link above. I hope you can join the livestream and learn with me!

I recently developed a new PD session titled "AI for Admins: Learning and Leading with AI" where we take a deep dive into ways that school administrative staff can use AI. This includes tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Brisk Teaching, MagicSchoolAI, SchoolAI, Suno, ElevenLabs and more to help brainstorm, generate content, summarize information, revise text, process PDFs, analyze data, make forms and presentations, create custom chatbots, generate media and much more.
I have had the chance to present this session multiple times over the last few months with administrators around the country. Eventually I hope to make a recording to share with everyone, but for now please feel free to explore the resource document and slideshow for the session.
🌲 Join Me for Sequoia Con 2025
I am honored and excited to be providing a keynote session once again this year for Sequoia Con 2025! Sequoia Con is an online conference focusing on Artificial Intelligence in K-12 education, which is hosted by Evergreen Education. The conference will be delivered live through Zoom on April 3rd and 4th 2025, but all sessions will also be recorded and shared after the event with everyone who registers.

🔎 Process Feedback for Google Docs
For years I have been recommending the Revision History extension as an excellent tool to help get useful data on students' writing process to assist with identifying potential use of AI or copying and pasting when writing. Unfortunately the extension has now switched to a paid model where the free version is severely limited. Certainly the company has that right, but I know that many teachers do not have the extra money for this, so recently I started looking for other alternatives to recommend.
One that I came across is "Process Feedback for Google Docs". This extension is completely free and generates a very detailed report on the writing process for any Google Doc. This includes details on total typing time, total task duration, quantity and content of any pasting, typing speeds, typing sessions, and even a simulated playback video of the document being written. Although no tool is a solution for cheating, this extension can be a valuable resource to provide a much clearer picture of the work a student has (or hasn't) put into their writing.

🧘 ClassroomZen
- Looking for a little Zen in your life? ClassroomZen is a free website with several mindfulness tools for students including:
- Classroom Noise Management - where students need to keep the volume of noise in the classroom below a preset level.
- Daily Breathing and Mindfulness Techniques - with guided breathing and mindfulness exercises.
- Brain Breaks - with games including Typing Zen with positive sentences to be typed.

🧠 NotebookLM adds Mindmaps
NotebookLM is one of my favorite AI tools and I share about it in many of my PD sessions. I am constantly impressed with how often Google has been adding new features to this tool. Just recently they rolled out the option to generate Mind Maps from the content you upload.
- Simply click on the new "Mind Map" button and NotebookLM will create a visual diagram showing the connections between key ideas in your content.
- You can click on any arrows to expand a topic into further sub-topics.
- You can also click on any topic to have NotebookLM generate an overview of that topic and how it relates to its connections.
- This looks like another useful way to process the content you upload and gain a deeper understanding of the materials.

🧑🏫 M2 from Swivl
What if there was a way to leverage AI while keeping you, the teacher, front and center? What if you had an effortless way to lead engaging lessons and push students to think deeper?
Now there is. Let me introduce myself. I’m M2: the intelligent co-teacher.
I can help you enhance learning without gluing students to screens. I sit on the sideline, following along silently. Then, when needed, I can be called in with a tap and a voice command:
How do I do this?
- 💡 Live Teaching Tips: I provide instant AI suggestions tailored to your objective—no coach, no time-consuming video reviews. No gotchas.
- 🧑🏫 Real-Time Classroom Support: Ask me (“ask M2”) for help anytime during class. You can ask me to “Explain that,” “Translate that”, “Ask me a question,” “Tell me a joke” and more to keep modern learners engaged.
- 💬 Personalized Feedback: At the end of each session, I’ll give you insights on your engagement, questioning, and pacing—along with pre-built MirrorTalk reflections for students and teachers!
