Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

This week I have 4 resources from around the Internet and 5 resources from my blog.
📓 Recorded Webinar: NotebookLM for Schools
I recently recorded a 90 minute webinar all about using NotebookLM in schools. In this deep dive session we explored creating notebooks, adding sources, chatting, generating content with the Studio tools, and lots of practical uses for educators and students. You can access the full recording and all the session resources at the link above.
🗯️ Recorded Webinar: Making Graphic Novels with NotebookLM
I recently recorded another 90 minute webinar, but this time all about making educational graphic novels with NotebookLM. In this deep dive session we covered all the steps including creating the script, picking an art style, generating the graphic novel, editing the graphic novel to fix issues with inconsistency, downloading in multiple formats, sharing with others, managing multiple languages, and including accessibility options. You can access the full recording and all the session resources at the link above.
I have another webinar coming up where we will explore using AI as an interactive partner for learning activities and games. These can be done with any grade level and any subject, either as whole-class activities where the teacher manages the AI but the students still participate, or with students individually interacting with the AI for their own learning experiences. Details for this training:
- 🎲 AI Games, Interviews and Activities for Student Learning
- 🗓️ Tuesday, April 21st, 2026
- ⏰ 3pm ET / 2pm CT / 1pm MT / Noon PT
- ▶️ The webinar will be live-streamed and also recorded for those who can't attend live

- 📝 Thesis Coach - Help students develop a strong, clear thesis statement for their research papers without ever doing the writing for them
- 🔭 Science Phenomena - Develop captivating, real-world phenomena for your lessons that students can use scientific knowledge to explain or predict
- 🚦 AI Expectations - Establish clear, pedagogy-driven AI boundaries for student assignments to determine exactly what AI use is allowable for a specific task
- 🤖 AI Integration Coach - Meaningfully and transformatively integrate AI into your lessons using the "Wrestle, Rap, Reflect" framework
- 🔠 Multiple Choice Quiz - Generate high-quality multiple-choice questions and answer keys based on specific content, standards, or uploaded texts

🚦 Traffic Lite
One of the key pieces in my training sessions on addressing AI cheating (see bit.ly/curts-aicheat) is making sure that teachers clearly communicate AI expectations with their students. I am so excited to share that an EdTech friend of mine, Derek Tranchina, has developed a free tool called Traffic Lite to help teachers do this when using Google Classroom.
Here are the basics:
- Traffic Lite is a customizable AI-Usage scale that embeds directly into Google Classroom posts, helping teachers clearly communicate expectations for how students should (or should not) use AI on each assignment.
- Once installed, the Traffic Lite widget automatically appears on Google Classroom posts. Teachers can simply click a color to instantly insert AI-Usage policy language into their assignment instructions.
- Teachers can customize their policy by clicking the extension icon and navigating to “Policy Details.” Choose from a 3-, 4-, or 5-color scale, each with research-based default language designed for classroom use. All policy language is fully editable.
- And it is completely free for teachers! An optional paid version adds administrative features to manage this for the entire district.
If you use Google Classroom, be sure to learn more about this tool at trafficliteedu.com and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
🏫 SchoolAI Browser Extension
SchoolAI has been one of my favorite AI tools for educators since it came out years ago. It is an exemplar tool for creating custom personalized learning activities for students. Now it has gotten even better with its new Chrome extension. This free extension provides you with a wide range of AI-powered tools anywhere you go including:
- Writing analysis - summary feedback, inline comments, and revision history viewer for student work
- Create a resource - Generate loads of resources from any webpage including lesson plans, rubrics, assessments, presentations, and more
- Content adaptation - Re-level or translate any text
- Create a space - Make an interactive activity based on any website
Learn more about this new tool at schoolai.com/products/browser-extension and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store to try it out.
⚛️ Atomency
I recently received an email from an 11th grader who developed a free, browser-based chemistry simulation platform for K-12 students called Atomency (learn about their process). I am super impressed with what they created and just had to share it!
Here are the basics:
- Interactive Simulations - Periodic tables, molecular builder, equation balancer, reaction kinetics, nuclear decay, acid-base & pH, gas laws, equilibrium, and more.
- Assignment Creator - Build custom, interactive chemistry assignments. Students will receive an encrypted link that forces them into a secure, anti-cheat assessment environment.
- Mapped to Standards - Every module ties directly to NGSS performance expectations, AP Chem units, IB Chemistry, and A-Level topics.
- Free - No login, works in any browser, zero student data collected
If you do anything with science, be sure to check it out at atomency.com and pass this along to your science educator friends.

With Factile, you can build a fun Jeopardy-style review game in minutes using AI AutoGen. Just pick a topic and let it build the game for you.
Here's what makes it click:
- 🤖 AI Game Creation - a full Jeopardy board in minutes
