📜 National Poetry Month Competition and Resources
  • During the month of April 2023, Book Creator is running a poetry competition for students!
  • The competition launched on Monday April 3rd and will run for the whole month.
  • I am excited to be serving as one of the judges for the competition, so I am so looking forward to reading what your students create!
  • To help students with inspiration and tools to write their poems, I pulled together a bunch of poetry-related resources and activities I have created or collected over the years.
  • You can access all the details about the poetry competition, as well as my poetry resources in my blog post linked above.

📢 15 Updates to Make Google BETTer
  • Google announced 15 new updates for Classroom, Docs, Slides, Meet, Chromebooks and more at the BETT23 exhibition.
  • I did an overview of each update in my blog post linked above.
  • What updates are you most excited about? For me it is interactive questions for YouTube, the web player for Screencast, and the Reading Mode in Chrome.

  • For an easy way to catch up on everything new in Google for Education from the last month, check out the recorded video, detailed agenda, and all the links from the GEG-Ohio March 2023 Meeting.
