EdTech Links of the Week - 9-19-22

Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.

One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.

If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

This week I have 5 new resources from around the Internet and 2 new resources from my blog.

📝 4 Free eSignature Options for Google Docs

Have you ever needed to add your signature to a Google Doc but didn't know how to? I have received this question several times recently so I put together a short video and blog post to demonstrate 4 free and easy ways to do this including:

✍️ Using handwriting fonts
📷 Inserting a signature image
✒️ Signing an embedded Google Drawing
⚙️ Using the "Simple Signature" add-on

Hopefully one of those four methods will work for you when you need to add your signature to a Google Doc. If you have suggestions for other solutions, please share your ideas. I would love to learn from you!

🔑 Google Tools to Support All Learners

I have been doing a session on accessibility and accommodation tools for many years. There are always so many new tools and updates though, the session is always changing. I recently recorded a new version of the session with the latest extensions, features and apps for:

🗣️ Text to speech
🎙️ Speech to text
👓 Readability
📗 Reading comprehension
🔊 Audio support
☑️ Focus & organization
🧭 Navigation

Check out the recorded video, resource document, slideshow, and blog post with all the details and links. And I would love to hear what other tools you would add to the list!
