I am super excited to be presenting at the virtual MakerEd Educators Forum this September. The MakerEd Educators Forum is a two day virtual conference where educators will explore maker topics, share ideas, exchange tips & tricks and learn from one another.

The event will be held on September 27th and 28th, and will consist of 30-minute presentations on Friday, interactive workshops on Saturday and unconference conversation opportunities both days. 

The goal of the Forum is to give STEAM & maker educators the opportunity to share ideas, resources, and experiences.  The sessions will focus on practical skills, examples of successes and struggles, creative uses of AI in the classroom, new ideas and tips and tricks you can use with your students. Presentation topics include bridging literacy and computer game design,  exploring Tinkercad's newest interactive features, AI and storytelling in the classroom and much more.

Yes (even) You Can Code with AI!

In this session we will see how to use tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude to create code that you can use in Google Docs, Sheets, and Sites for learning games, simulations, activities, supports, time-savers, productivity helpers, and more.
