Each week I keep an eye out for the latest edtech resources through blogs, social media, podcasts, videos, user groups, and more. I then try to reshare these resources in many ways.
One way I share these is here on the blog in these "EdTech Links of the Week" posts. See below to explore the latest batch of resources, and be sure to share with others who may benefit.
If you want to make sure you don't miss new resources, you can:

👺 Screen Mask
- This week a colleague asked if I was aware of any good tool for screen masking. I knew of a couple, but ended up testing out quite a few, before settling on this one.
- Screen Mask is a simple free Chrome extension that darkens the page except for a bright bar that moves up and down the page with your mouse.
- The idea is to help a reader stay focused on the portion of the page they are reading and not get lost in the rest of the content.
- Simply click on the extension and turn it on or off.
- From the extension menu you can adjust the height of the bright reading bar.
Just like my "Cool Tools 2023" series, lots of other EdTech folks are sharing winter-themed activity and learning series. See below for a list of ones I have come across. If you have such a resource, please let me know so I can add it to the list.

🤸 My EdTech Playground Session
I am excited to once again be presenting an "EdTech Playground" for the Teacher Innovation Network this year! The great things about the EdTech Playgrounds are:
- They are FREE!
- They are streamed live
- The recordings can be viewed later
- They are open to anyone
This year I will be doing a session about accessibility on January 30, 2024 from 3:30 to 5:00pm PST (6:30 to 8:00pm EST). Get details and register for free at the link above or at: tinyurl.com/tin2023
